I have loved the adventure of reading 200 books in one year. However, it is not the best way to read.I miss having time to deeply ponder a wise passage or think for long moments about the ending and all that it took to get there.I miss being so fully immersed in a story and it’s characters that I forget I am only sitting in my living room and not fighting to survive against all odds or seeking out my one true love.I feel that in reading so many, so quickly, I have lost some of the magic of each one.So, when asked if I plan to try it again next year, I find it very easy to say, “I would rather savour a select few then breeze through thousands.”

BOOKS !!!! ^.^

tofindasilverlining:

I went book shopping yesterday, after AGES, and I bought around 14 books !! I absolutely LOVE reading !! My house is literally overflowing with books. So that’s causing a little bit of a problem for me :P I have too many books with no place to keep them!!! If only I had shelves/room like these ^^ for my books !! I probably would never come out of there !!! ^.^
